Every hand-drawn pet portrait is created entirely by hand, whatever size you choose.
The difference isn't the level of care or detail - it's simply how much space you'd like the finished artwork to have in your home.
All portraits are supplied unframed, allowing you to choose a frame that best suits your own home and style.
My pet portrait prices are based on the finished artwork size rather than the number of hours spent creating it.

More than one pet?
Yes - multiple pets can absolutely be included in a single portrait.
Whether you're celebrating lifelong companions or bringing together pets from different photographs, every composition is carefully planned so each animal remains clear, balanced and instantly recognisable.
Things to consider
✓ Dogs, cats and other much-loved pets can all be included.
✓ Separate reference photographs can often be combined into one balanced composition.
✓ As more pets are included, each will naturally appear slightly smaller within the chosen paper size.
✓ Larger sizes usually provide greater flexibility for multiple-pet portraits.
Rather than charging per pet, pricing is based on the size of the finished artwork.

Once you've chosen the right size, the rest of the process is straightforward.
Every commission is created to order, so I'll guide you through each stage personally, from discussing your photographs to sending your finished portrait safely on its way.
What happens after you order?
1. I’ll get in touch
I'll contact you the same day to introduce myself, confirm your commission and discuss your reference photographs.
2. We’ll choose the best photos
If you're unsure which photographs will work best, you're welcome to send several. I'll help you select the strongest images before I begin drawing.
3. Drawn entirely by hand
Every hand-drawn pet portrait is created using coloured pencil and wax crayon on textured fine art paper. There are no digital shortcuts - just original artwork
4. Delivered safely
Before your portrait is dispatched, you'll receive an emailed preview. Your artwork is then sent using tracked delivery.
