Hand-drawn pet portraits loved by their owners
Hand-drawn, with a style of their own
A good pet portrait should look like your pet - the familiar eyes, expression, markings and even that slightly wonky ear.
That's why I start with a strong, recognisable likeness, then develop your photograph into contemporary artwork using coloured pencil and wax crayon.
The result isn't simply a copy of a photo. It's an original portrait, drawn entirely by hand and unmistakably them.
Recognisable first.
Contemporary second.
Hand-drawn always.

If you're unsure which photograph to use, send me a few options after ordering and I'll help you choose the strongest one.

Yes.
Sometimes one photograph has the perfect expression, while another shows coat colours or markings more clearly. When needed, I can use several reference photos to create a portrait that feels natural and recognisable.
